Trong To – Practice Principal
Trong To has had over fifteen years of industry experience and has had the privilege of treating and working with elite national and international swimmers at local, national and FINA World Swimming Championships.
He has also worked with:
- South Dragons (basketball)
- Nunawading Spectres (basketball)
- Vermont FC
- Local and national soft ball competitions
Trong has a keen interest in treating sporting injuries but also enjoys treating “domestic” injuries as these non sporting injuries can be just as challenging and debilitating. Trong is employs many different manual techniques and has practiced dry needling for over 12 years. He believes in doing “whatever works” even if it is borrowed from other disciplines.
Trong has also trained in Karate, holds a first degree black belt and has competed at both national and international levels.
He is Australian University qualified, is accredited with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Workcover, TAC, Veteran’s Affairs and private health insurance agencies.
Trong is happy to treat sporting and non-sporting people alike, and his patients span all ages.
When not at work, Trong enjoys, reading, fishing, travelling, meeting new people,kick boxing and archery.
Paul Nguyen graduated in 1999 from the University of Sydney. Paul has worked predominantly in private practice in Australia as well spending 5 years working in some of London’s leading hospitals. Paul has also trained and worked for the Australian physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in London for 4 years , using clinical Pilates in the treatment and rehabilitation of spinal and peripheral injuries. Paul has extensive experience in the management of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He is a very hands on physiotherapist and is a strong believer in strength through exercise and fitness. Paul has worked with sporting athletes as well as weekend warriors of all ages. He now calls Melbourne home and would love to help you to restore your movement and function and improve your quality of life.
